Ichneumonids of North America
From the "About" page:

"Ichneumonids of North America is an online resource for ichneumonid biodiversity. Ichneumonids are a fascinating group of parasitoid wasps with over 25,000 described species and likely over 100,000 total species. In North America (north of Mexico), there are around 5,508 described species and probably several thousand undescribed species. Like many hyper-diverse groups, identification resources and other information about ichneumonids are severely lacking in relation to their diversity. Even identifying ichneumonids to a particular subfamily can be challenging, let alone to genus or species.

Broad G. (2011) Identification key to the subfamilies of Ichneumonidae (Hymenoptera)
[cite:369494]
A helpful illustrated key designed with the fauna of British Isles in mind but giving good idea of the features used to separate ichneumonoid families and most of the ichneumonid subfamilies in our area, too

Carlson R.W. () Ichneumonidae catalog
[cite:359178]
A catalog of the ichneumon wasps north of Mexico (taxonomy, hosts, distribution, references); part of the Database of Hymenoptera in America north of Mexico

Classification and Systematics of the Ichneumonidae
David Wahl's catalog of generic and higher names within Ichneumonidae is updated based on new publications and is the classification used by BugGuide. Names from Townes' revisions should be checked against this list for current status.

[cite:650027]
excellent resource, although the name of the site is a misnomer: actually, it's a set of several separate projects designed to cover eventually all the living organisms.

Genera Ichneumonorum Nearcticae (2014)
[cite:369531]

This comprehensive resource, developed and maintained by Ian Gauld and David Wahl of the American Entomological Institute, aims to provide up-to-date information about the taxonomy and biology of North American Ichneumonidae, with more detailed treatment and keys to the Nearctic genera/species of a number of [mostly minor] subfamilies, incl. Acaenitinae, Brachycyrtinae, Collyriinae, Lycorininae, Ophioninae, Poemeniinae, Rhyssinae, Stilbopinae, and Xoridinae.

a wonderful resource cited on many BG pages over the years (somehow never made it into the ref section, though)
