Basswood lace bugs - Gargaphia tiliae

The top of the basswood (Linden) leaf was puckered so we looked below and found a surprise. Patrick also took some shots of these which he may post if his are better. The originals of these two shots are about 4mb so we can zoom in on any part of the image if people would like to see a closeup. gathering_2011
