Trirhabda? - Trirhabda

Trirhabda? - Trirhabda
Trail to Lost Lake, Ledges State Park, Boone County, Iowa, USA
July 31, 2011
Found this Trirhabda-like beetle in the woods along the Des Moines River. Now that we see that the pronotum looks short, we wish we had paid more attention to the plant it was on. We have vague recollection that both prickly ash and wafer ash were present in the woods. gathering_2011

Because we didn't note the plant it was on
we were confused about whether this might be Derospidea. Thanks.
