Thinking...
Doing searches for California pseudoscorpions associated with beach habitat, I found photos of Garypus that seem to match up with this guy. I don't have enough resolution to go through the key in https://ia600305.us.archive.org/14/items/occasionalpapers131cali/occasionalpapers131cali.pdf, but G. californicus seems consistent from the morphological description with the rows of spotted tergites. From what I could find on http://museum.wa.gov.au/catalogues/pseudoscorpions/genus/Garypus G. californicus might also be the only one in range.

Marshall Hedin has a photo of Garypus on flickr: https://www.flickr.com/photos/23660854@N07/6226693666/in/photolist-nzw93Y-nRHnU8-87H67d-aaWwU7-ipfhTb-fERoqW-bGkJpa-auer6m that also looks close.

Maybe enough for genus on this guy?

Great one
