This spider lives outside my door. He doesn't move very much & he only comes out at night.

example of the spider using the calamistrum on leg 4 to pull the cribellate silk from the cribellum as it adds to the web.

Crevice Weaver
This is a crevice weaver spider, most likely a Southern House Spider (Kukulcania hibernalis). Although large, they are not dangerous. They are primarily nocturnal (as you have seen), and love a good diet of insects. :)

Now that I've done more research, I don't mind her being up there as long as that's where she stays! I appreciate the tip-off as to what species she is!

Thank you for sharing these images, which show the WEB, and the proportional size of the spider to its web. Often, it is as easy to tell what kind of spider it is by the web, as from the spider itself, but we forget to take images of the web.
