This 3/4" bee/wasp was actively feeding on the flowers shown, not spending much time at each cluster. It holds what appears to be it's hind legs directly ahead of itself at most times while feeding. This image was shot around 11:30 am at Kanappaha Botanical Gardens just outside of Gainesville, Florida.
