Heptageniidae: Rhithrogena sp.
A beautifully marked species. This is a new species for us, not R. jejeuna as I had originally thought. Much too big, and very strikingly colored for most Rhithrogena. Perhaps R. gaspeensis, whose larva has never been described.

I just scratched the surface
I'm sure there are tons more mayflies than what I've seen. If it wasn't for Don identifying them, I wouldn't have gone after them. Jim, thanks for the compliment.
