Oh Oh Oh!
You're close V, this is actually
Pseudosaica florida
(Barber), 1953. Used to be in
Saica
but Blinn (1990) raised it to a new genus based on the different form of the genitalia. They can also be separated by color pattern. As evidenced by the original name of the species
Saica fuscovittata
Barber, 1914 (new epithet replaced a homonym), this species has a dark midlongitudinal stripe. Saica elkinsi Blinn, 1994 (with which
Saica florida
was confused for a long time) is uniformly yellow-brown.
JC, do you have this specimen? To be 100%, I would want to take a look at the pygophore although I'm not certain about the sex either. Additionally, saicines aren't very commonly collected and this species is known from only a few states.

Right, shame on you...
for not being able to distinguish 1/3 versus 1/2 the length in a photograph. Bah! Your assessment was magnificent based on what you had available. Blinn's key omits the color difference between the species.
