Common Baskettail - Epitheca cynosura - Male

Netted in the regeneration field behind my office.

Note the tail apendages have no spikes. The apendage shape and placement of spikes (or lack there of) is a sure way to tell the males of the similar looking baskettail species apart (Beaverpond, Common and Spiny).
