Spectralia gracilipes
A few years ago, the same mystery entomolgist who kindly keyed out the Buprestis nuttalli for me (see comments under photo 56199, again I feel bad for forgetting his name) ID'd this as Cinyra gracilpes. I showed the picture to Joshua Basham who thought Spectralia was the up to date genus name. This is the only Buprestid that I have ever collected at light.

We collected one of this bups
We collected one of this bups at the Research Center that I work at and sent it to Rick Westcott. He named it Spectralia gracilipes. I would believe he is up to date on the bup names since it is his full time job. Also I have been seeing these lately and mentioning them to him, he never corrected me to use Cinyra.

Cinyra is old name
Spectralia is the latest - was proposed by Casey 1909, as subgenus of Cinyra, later elevated to genus by Cobos 1979. You'll see Cinyra in the older literature for this.
