Garden Tortrix? - Choristoneura parallela

Garden Tortrix? - Choristoneura parallela
Columbia, Hinkson Creek Recreation Area, Boone County, Missouri, USA
August 11, 2011
Clepsis peritana, the Garden Tortrix?

Moved
Moved from Choristoneura obsoletana. I asked Jason about this one, and he confirmed that this is parallela.

Moved
Moved from Tortricid Moths.

Tentative ID, I would want to dissect it to be certain.

Choristoneura parallela?
Could you take another look? Your determination was made years ago and I'm wondering if this might be parallela given the shape and somewhat well defined median band. I moved Carol's before seeing this, referenced below. It would be good to know if I was wrong.

More like this...?

But of course, I'm not an expert ;)

You might be right on
I'm so bad with moths though- I can't tell similarities or differences unless they're completely obvious :P
