Spiny Oakworm Moth Closeup - Anisota stigma

Spiny Oakworm Moth Closeup - Anisota stigma
Hacklebarney, Pierce County, Georgia, USA
August 8, 2008
I hope that I have this correctly identified -- if not please let me know! This is a closeup of the face of a Spiny Oakworm Moth … It is hanging onto the top seeding parts of a blade of grass in my front yard.

Well....
It could be stigma, but it's hard to tell at this angle.

thanks
I wish I had more photos to show, I took more .. but hard drive failure took thousands of my photos & videos .. luckily I still had the ones that had been uploaded online.

I identified it as stigma when I first took the photos, when I had others with which to compare it.
