Steve, thanks for catching that, they were definitely placed at the wrong species.

Bellura vulnifica?
Tom, I just found Bellura gortynoides in Indiana this week. When placing under BugGuide, I noticed this image and another one you found a month earlier that look more like the images of Bellura vulnifica including several that you have placed there. They all have a very bold dark PM line and are darker marked overall. On your June 2011 moth, you agreed with Edna Woodward's suggestion of vulnifica and yet that image was placed under gortynoides. Just wondering if these have been placed in error and may need to be moved to vulnifica? There is an image like yours under gortynoides by Earl Orf from Minnesota. You will see that I have made a similar comment on that image.
