I have seen a lot of these little creatures out here in the country but have no idea what they are....heck - I don't even know which end is which on it!!

Hickory Tussock Moth (Lophocampa caryae). Contact can cause rashes in some people and very rarely more major allergic reactions.

The name is confusing,
it is actually a species of Tiger Moth (Arctiini).
