Cingilia catenaria

Cingilia catenaria
Massawepie Bog, St. Lawrence County, New York, USA
August 14, 2011
It was on a sedge leaf in a bog in the Adirondacks. It was id'd from Dave Wagner's caterpillar guide, p. 187. Wagner calls it the "chain-dotted geometer", though I think a better name might be "Boston Terrier Geometer". Love those dogface patterns.
