pyralid, as suggested
the moth looks much like a worn Spoladea recurvalis, although maybe Florida has other, similar species.

Spoladea recurvalis looks good!
Thanks! It certainly looks like the other photos of S. recurvalis I've seen. There were hundreds of them in this agricultural area.

the butterfly is a Sleepy Orange like
this one
I think.
I'm no help on the moth at all, I'm afraid. A Pyralid of some sort as a first guess?
