What a beautiful insect.

Megacyllene angulifera
With a bit of research I found that 2 Megacyllene species have been recorded in Manitoba, namely M. decora and M. angulifera. M.decora has a quite different pattern from this one and the subject beast looks like images I have found of M. angulifera.

M. robiniae is unlikely as the host tree does not grow in Manitoba.
