Mystery Bug... - Pygolampis pectoralis

Mystery Bug... - Pygolampis pectoralis
Turtle River State Park, Grand Forks County, North Dakota, USA
August 16, 2011
Size: Body Length ~ 1 cm
This slender bug has a water strider-like look to it. I found it clinging upside down on a vertical wall. I don't see any antennae. Is it a Gerris? If so, how's it hold itself to the wall? Thanks for looking! ;-)

Pygolampis pectoralis
Looks like an adult male.

Moved from True Bugs.

Thanks, Daniel!
Wonderful! It's unlike any other reduviid I've seen in our locale! Very, very cool! Thank you for the ID. ;-)

I would look in Reduviidae, but I'm not sure.
