wasp - Esagonatopus niger
Cross Plains, Dane County, Wisconsin, USA
August 17, 2011
Size: ~3mm
Always check the ants because sometimes they aren't ants. Almost missed this one but I took a second look since it looked a little odd. It's really fun to come across one of these wasps once in a while.
