Tibicen winnemana (= T. pruinosus winnemana in older lit)
This is the "Eastern Scissor Grinder"
There is some debate as to whether these are a distinct taxon, subspecies or merely part of a complex geographic cline.
(I suspect these are likely part of the pruinosus cline)

Distinct characters for winnemana often include: Strongly bowed costae (bowed wings as in linnei), brown dorsal markings along the abdomen, slate blue-gray eyes, and absence of a black ventral abdominal stripe or markings.

Tibicen pruinosus (?)
As both T. pruinosus and T. canicularis show up in PA on a cicada map (here), it could be either one. T. canicularis seems to be more prevalent in PA; however, you say that it is "large" so, I am going with Tibicen pruinosus. On the other hand, "large" is open to personal interpretation and the databases for PA do favor T. canicularis... A measurement of its total length and a ventral view would put the matter to rest.

This was roughly the same siz
This was roughly the same size as the Swamp Cicadas (Tibicen tibicen) I've been seeing lately.
