Giant House Spider? - Eratigena duellica - male

Giant House Spider? - Eratigena duellica - Male
Salem, Marion County, Oregon, USA
August 17, 2011
Size: 15 mm
Found while I was working at my local grocery store. Came out of a chip box. Kinda startled me because of how big it was and I'm usually not too squeamish about things like this. Pretty sure this one is a Giant House Spider. I tried to put it in a bag so I could get some better close ups and the spider freaked out and got venom all over itself. I thought it had died but it seems to be recovering slowly so I took advantage of it's lethargy and got some close ups! Possibly exotic but I kinda doubt it.
