This wasp was visiting flowers at John Pennekamp.

on Sleepy Morning (Waltheria indica). Its flowers appear to be attractive to a variety of wasps.

Definitely a Sphex, probably S. jamaicensis. Would be easier to ID if they played reggae music, eh mon? :-)
