Somewhat hairy, black & white, short-elytra'd, long-abdomen'd beetle found in Dragon Lily (Dracunculus vulgaris, remnant of an ancient garden).

Those years when this Arum irrupts, three spp of beetle appear, briefly.

Moved from Beetles. Feeds on fly larvae in carrion. Image its surprise to find a flower instead!

 
not too surprised...
