Treehopper - Telamona reclivata

Treehopper - Telamona reclivata
Groton, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, USA
August 20, 2011
Size: 9mm to wingtip
Also I was wondering about this one in the T. tristis page. It has the horns, but the crest is more rounded than the others.

Moved
Moved from Treehoppers.
Thanks Andy. I'm saving all these Membracids for Don.

Telamona reclivata
There is a considerable variation in all Telamona species, and some of these species are dubious. Modern genetic testing such as "bar-coding" should give us definitive answers. Studies are in the works right now, but nailing down the variation may take quite some time without fresh specimens, so please save those oddities for later study!
