Strange Greenish Cicadia -
Neocicada hieroglyphica
Wahneta, Polk County, Florida, USA
Size: 1 in. (legnth, w/o wings)
These are fairly common in the Wahneta area. They have a very strange sort of color. This particular specimen has around a 2 1/2 inch wingspan.
