Orange Wing Moth - Mellilla xanthometata - male

Orange Wing Moth - Mellilla xanthometata - Male
Columbia / Capen Park, Boone County, Missouri, USA
August 21, 2011
Size: maybe 15 mm
Found & photographed at Capen Park Blacklighting in Columbia, Missouri. Got help from Lee Elliott who sez it may be this little Orange Wing. Whadya think? And if so, probably male?

Yes, quite variable as you can see by clicking on Images
but a good match

Thanks Again !
Yes I noticed the variability. I didn't see too many images with the bug in this position. I think that during the blacklighting, this one was "buzzing" on the bedsheet we had lit up.

Thanks!
J & J Balaban for the attention to this bug.

Please forgive, but does this mean that this ID is confirmed, you think this is the "Orange Wing" Moth Mellilla xanthometata?
