Oculatus watermelon snack - Alaus oculatus - Male Female

Size: B= 39mm, T= 33mm
This pair of Eyed Click Beetles is enjoying a small chunk of watermelon. I thought the female (and I still don't know which one she is) might need a little nutrition as she prepares to lay eggs. Many click beetles also enjoy honey water, although watermelon is less messy.
