Spider - Dolomedes albineus

Spider - Dolomedes albineus
Conway, Horry County, South Carolina, USA
August 20, 2011
Size: 3"
This spider was on the wall by my porch light. I measured the distance between the screw on the right and the edge of the wall. It was 3". Pretty big fellow. When I disturbed it, it jumped very quickly.

I don't suppose you can provide a larger image... showing the pattern on the carapace & abdomen more clearly? It does look like a male D. tenebrosus. Spiders are measured without the legs included. So maybe an .75 inches?

That's what it looks like to me!
