Light arena for insect photography

Light arena for insect photography
Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, USA
Here the top oil-change pan with attached frosted, clear, plastic wastebasket has been removed and the light turned on. There are four 12-inch circline flourescent tubes clamped together with dense plastic foam pieces between them. The plastic ring on top was cut from the lid of a white plastic 5-gallon paint bucket. I used wingnuts and threaded rod to fasten the circline bulbs so it could be taken apart by hand to change a burned-out bulb.
