Light arena for insect photography
Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, USA
Threaded rods and power feeds to bulbs penetrate into the bucket base. The bottom circline bulb is supported on three yellow wirenuts secured with screws through wall of plastic oil-change pan. This allows airflow though chamber for effective cooling. Air is drawn into the chamber through a gap between the rims of the top and bottom oil-change pans that is created when they are turned face-to-face.
