Larva ??? - Toxomerus marginatus

Larva ??? - Toxomerus marginatus
Moccasin Lake, Wednesday, Douglas County, Georgia, USA
August 7, 2011
Does anyone have any idea as to what this is? I found it on a clover leaf, was going to watch it and see what happened but son-in-law mowed the grass without me having to tell him!

Puparium
It is interesting how you can see the pattern of the adult before it emerges from the puparium. I have one here (different genus).
Yours probably emerged in the next few hours. It would have been fun to see it. I followed some of mine from the larval stages to adult but this one emerged when I wasn't looking. Sigh!
I thought that they preferred to pupate on the ground, but I see that this one chose a leaf.

Moved
Moved from ID Request.

Looks more like a pupa
The abdominal markings visible through the skin remind me of Toxomerus marginatus or something related.

Thank you
Thanks for the fast response. You're probably right, it being a pupa. I just didn't know what is was.
