According to Oman's 1938 revision of the genus, P. confusa is found in northern California (San Francisco area) and possibly as far east as Reno, NV, while P. tredecimpunctata has a restricted range in the Los Angeles area. P. furcata, according to the revision, is known from the southern Sierras, where it was described from Sequoia NF.
