Looks like El*eodes but...
I think this may be Helops because the clypeus is convex. I'm pretty sure all Eleodes have a slightly concave anterior margin of the clypeus. I had a specimen like this from the Chiricahuas for the longest time in the Eleo*des section of my collection and didn't realize my error until looking at it carefully.

this is most-certainly Eleodes but cannot place the species off-hand.
