Size: 4 mm
Distinctive antennae and hump on the dorsal side of the snout.
Found it on the inside of the front door.

What possible explanation for those long, get-in-the-way, antennae? Or do we have a clue, yet?

no idea; many anthribid males sport ridiculously long antennae
..that make them look a lot like longhorns from a distance; must have something to do with olfactory communication, but it's just a guess
