Again, this image exhibits most the critical characters for P. obscuripennis: very dark (mostly black) vertex & frons; 3rd antennal segment much shorter than 2nd; wing pattern somewhat diffuse, but darkened anterior to the "3rd longitudinal vein" (i.e. R2+3). Also shows nicely the two golden pollinose spots inset from the humeri; and overall black of of body with yellow apical pollinose bands on the terga...becoming wider and more conspicuous distally.
