unknown sphynx moth NW ohio? - Amphion floridensis

Size: 1.5 - 2 inches across
I found this low in the taller grasses. I believe it to be a type of sphynx moth. at first I thought a mournful but the tail is different and the pose form other pictures I have seen is different. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks you for the quick reply. I have a moth book but wow, there are a lot. the plates are OK but not too big. I did an image search here too but for whatever reason never came across it. You saved me additional hours of searching
