Jagged Ambush Bugs (Phymata) » Pennsylvania Ambush Bug (Phymata pennsylvanica) - Phymata pennsylvanica - Male Female
Green Lane, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, USA
August 22, 2011
77 deg. F, cloudy with spotty rain, on mint. I found pictures in the guide that look just like my pair. Apologies for the picture quality; my camera and I have a bit of a challenge with such macro shots. I do hope it's good enough to get the ID confirmed. Although the bugs weren't measured, the size can be compared to the mint flowers.
