If that's a Dogwood Blossum,
we're guessing these are quite small, so we suggest Molorchus instead

... I should have known that! Found what Blaine IDed as Molorchus bimaculatus April 3, this year on the same dogwood! Suspect I have the wrong subspecies ID on that one, too: Was thinking M. b. bimaculatus.
