Imperial Moth....nobilis? (individual 1) - Eacles imperialis

Imperial Moth....nobilis? (individual 1) - Eacles imperialis
2 miles north of Colmesneil, Tyler County, Texas, USA
September 3, 2011
Is this moth the "nobilis" color variation of the Imperial Moth, called Texas Imperial Moth? I am submitting photos of two individuals; this Individual 1 was a paler color than Individual 2 but wasn't worn. By counting the 1/4" squares on the sheet, its wingspan in that position was about 3.25". The night I photographed this moth, there were 13 other "regular" Imperial moths, which was a treat after a long hot dry summer. Thanks, Wanda
