Black Longhorned Beetle - Brachysomida atra
1 mile north of Westwood in a clear cut area, Lassen County, California, USA

Size: 10 mm
This beetle seems a bit different from the all black male Dimorphic Flower Longhorned Beetle, Anastrangalia laetifica that I added previously:


Shorter tarsi, and less slender body on this specimen. Any further ID help is appreciated - thanks!
