Stephanucha areata - Euphoria areata

Stephanucha areata - Euphoria areata
Ocean City, Worcester County, Maryland, USA
August 14, 2001
Size: 13 mm
Given to me by a friend who found it on the Ocean City boardwalk. Perhaps came from the adjacent sand dunes?

ID
This genus can be differentiated from Euphoria by the dentate (usually) clypeus, 4 teeth in this case - nice addition to the guide. In SC this is usually an early spring species.
