Moved from ID Request.
I have no clue, but I'm very curious what this is... I've moved it to the "unsolved mysteries" section; hopefully someone will figure it out eventually. Any follow-up observations?

need clues
took awhile to recognize the tunnel, and light at far end. you are questioning the vertical "stripe" from tunnel roof to ground? what size? what appearance? what material?

Web
It is silk, like a web. Starts out wide at the top and turns cylindrical (like a tube). It was about 5 feet from the top the grew about a foot a day its now on the ground.
