This all dark brown female is very unusual
The species cannot be determined. Hopeful that more will be found - including a male.

Exactly where?
Where was this cricket found exactly? I am in San Diego and could look for additional specimens.

I see it was found near Lake Miramar.

 
It would still be great...
if you kept your eyes open for any very dark tree crickets like this one. There was also a photo of a dark female further north.
