Is this an Antlion? While I haven't a clue as to whether they're diagnostic of anything, the features that I noticed are the distinctive mouth parts, the "fire opal" eyes, and the striped antennae.

Looks like one to me. I wonder if the fourt spots near the "shoulder" would help with the species ID? I've always heard most Antlions are hard to take to species.
