Walking Stick - Diapheromera femorata - female

Walking Stick - Diapheromera femorata - Female
Middlesex Fells, Medford, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, USA
September 10, 2011
The first time I've ever seen one of these. Amazing, doesn't look like something that belongs in Massachusetts. My understanding is that there aren't too many different species to choose from in Massachusetts. Is this Diapheromera femorata? Thanks!
