recent area hatch? migration?
I observed a substantial movement and wreck of this species on the Park Point beach in Duluth MN at 7:30 AM the 12th of September. Interesting seeing recent area postings of this species from you and from
Michael Butler
. I hope all the Duluth individuals had already mated/laid eggs, because most of them were dying in the lake or on the beach. I saw scores of them flying in over the water from the NE.

I'll watch for them in the fu
