Agelenopsis female - Agelenopsis naevia - female

Agelenopsis female - Agelenopsis naevia - Female
Oak Ridge, Guilford County, North Carolina, USA
September 13, 2011
Size: 3/4 in
I have five of these living in my woodpile which is on the porch near under the light. Have seen males around, too, even inhabiting a funnel web.
Notice that there is a second spider under the web, belly up...
The photo is "grayed out" because I shot through the barrier web.
Data point for NC, September, for Agelenopsis.
