There were at least a dozen of these under the fish bones.

the coastal habitat makes perfect sense

Nitidula
spp. may also hang out there; bones are their food of choice (also
Omosita & Soronia
's)

Next time I'm at the coast
I'll keep an eye out for carcasses near the beach. Maybe something else good will turn up.
