Aphoebantus mus - Male
Lower Ash Canyon W of Hwy 92, Cochise County, Arizona, USA
September 14, 2011
Found sitting on a Salvia leaf in the garden. 5,010' elev. Oak-grassland interface. SE Huachuca Mts. Posting this photo to show that this species occurs in the yard during both spring and late summer (see other photos). I have not seen it in the intermediate (hotter and drier) period, so I assume this is a second flight?
