Fiery Skipper - Hylephila phyleus

Fiery Skipper - Hylephila phyleus
The Woodlands, Montgomery County, Texas, USA
May 28, 2006
I think this looks like a skipper, but I keep thumbing through the guide, and can't find it. Any help?

Looks like Fiery Skipper
Hylephila phyleus.

Yes
It looks like you're right. Thank you very much. I checked "A Field Guide to Butterflies of Texas" by Raymond Neck, and it says they are common enough across the state to occasionally be a lawn pest, so they are here. Thanks for the help.
